Editor's LetterBeloved in Christ, This leaves us with nothing special to tell you except that God is faithful and one of these days, and I believe soon, his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is coming back to this earth to gather his own. I have been believing this for many years and certainly it is more imminent than ever before. The spirit behind the name Midnight Cry Messenger was inspired by the belief that Jesus was coming soon. The more I observe world affairs, including the violence and the other unusual things that are part of our generation, the more I believe that anything can happen at any time to bring an end to world society. More nations are getting nuclear bombs and they are all afraid to be the first to use them. The two bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki almost 60 years ago destroyed both cities entirely. The bombs of today would make those bombs appear as firecrackers. With several nations subject to use them, this world doesn’t have long. Our hope is in the Lord. We need to do all we can to influence our churches, our loved ones, and especially our children to be ready. There has never been a time such as we have today. There was a time we could plan on a future but not anymore. Our future is coming to an abrupt end. Noah believed that the Lord’s word was true and that his generation was the last one. This is why Jesus said in Matthew 24:37, "But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." There has never been a time as laden with danger and depravity as today. Like the song, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness." The world of course doesn’t understand this, but I believe that some of you who read this paper do. Pray for us that we might be led of the Lord in these last days. May the Lord bless everyone who reads this paper and cause them to pray and begin to look up. God bless you.
