Dear Saints,

Greetings to all in the wonderful name of Jesus! I'm not sure when this issue will reach all of its readers but at least it appears that we will get it published within the April-May-June time frame! I pray that it finds you blessed and growing in the Lord.

Everywhere we look in our present world we observe the effects of the great falling away Paul warned of in 2 Thessalonians 2. It should not surprise us. In fact it should cause us to look up because our redemption is drawing near! Just one little indicator of the changes that are taking place comes in a recent article in the English edition of Pravda, the Russian newspaper. It notes that the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed. The Lord only knows all that may be coming but we can rest assured that He will never leave us nor forsake us however it may appear. Christ's true followers in the earth need to wake up and be ready to serve Him no matter what comes.

This issue leads with parts three of both current series, "What Does Deception Look Like?" and "God's Chosen People." I hope that you will read both with an open heart and mind and seek the Lord if you encounter something that seems different or questionable. We are all more affected by our religious exposure to varying traditions than we realize.

In that regard this issue also contains a "Book Sampler" reprint of a couple of chapters from the mid 1990s book entitled, "How Do You Know You Are Right?" Of course, the book is, in part, a challenge to the certainty with which so many Christians cling to their traditions even though these traditions of which they are so sure contradict one another. Everyone can't be right! Of course, I know that you and I are right and it's everyone else that's wrong! The truth is that we all need a healthy dose of humility about what we think we "know."

The path to true knowledge begins with the knowledge that we do not know and brings us into a humble dependence on the Lord to reveal truth to us as He sees fit. In other words the book moves from a discussion of our tendency to blindly cling to what we think we "know" to a discussion of how true spiritual knowledge is actually acquired.

Our annual convention in Jacksonville, Florida is just about upon us. It will be held June 24-27 in the Midnight Cry Ministry Church on Hammond Blvd. If the Lord so directs and enables we would love for you to be with us. The conventions are always a time of great blessing and fellowship. People often travel considerable distances, sometimes from the other side of the world, to be there.

We see the Lord doing a deep work in His people, a work that is surely needed. Left to ourselves we would tend to coast. We resist change yet God's kingdom is all about change. He is getting us ready for the eternal kingdom where we will enjoy Him and His presence forever!

He also wants a people He can use in these last days to be a light in an increasingly dark world. We continue to see great opportunities even as we see the "handwriting on the wall" that spiritual night is falling. I believe there is a harvest to be gathered. May the Lord send forth laborers into that harvest. I don't believe it will be long.
